Vertical Agitators are equipments that have a shaft that goes near the bottom of the tank and, by means of one or several stirring elements, carry out most of the processes in most of the industries. Mixing, dispersion, homogenization, suspension, etc.
Depending on the dimensions and size of the tank, the stirring shaft can be constructed of several sections to facilitate handling, manufacturing and assembly. Sometimes the shaft can also be guided by a limiter tripod placed at the bottom of the tank.
|Applications||They are the most used in the industry since, according to the combination of their elements, they allow to carry out the majority of processes of homogenization, mixing, suspension, heat transfer, etc.|
|Industries||Chemical, Petrochemical, Food, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical|
|Installation||In closed tanks, they are installed on DIN, ASA, or special flanges on the top of the tank. In open tanks or with flat tops they are usually installed on a support bridge with an anchor plate.|
|Power||From 0.12 to 90kW|
|Speed||From 20 to 3000 rpm|
|Sealing||Single mechanical seal, Double mechanical seal, Locks, Hydraulic labyrinth, Stuffing Box, Open or atmospheric.|
